The Sierra Vista Rotary Club is proud to offer scholarships to local students as this investment in our future empowers local students to enact change in our community. Education and Literacy is one of the core causes of Rotary International, "Our goal is to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy. We support education for all children and literacy for children and adults."

The Sierra Vista Rotary Club offers 4 scholarships to local students. These scholarships are to provide financial assistance in the form of a scholarship award in recognition of the student’s potential for success and desire to make a difference.  It can only be applied to an accredited institution, trade school, or certification or licensure program. These scholarships will not be awarded to any student who receives a full scholarship covering tuition, books, plus room and board.

Sierra Vista Rotary Club Scholarships

Limited to current students who are graduating with a GED with good academic standing and demonstration of participation in community/family/social endeavors.  This scholarship is to provide financial assistance in the form of a scholarship award in recognition of the student’s potential for success and desire to make a difference.  
 
This scholarship is limited to residents who are currently enrolled as a student at Cochise College or has been accepted and will attend Cochise College. The applicant must show exceptional efforts based on grades and/or endorsements and must have demonstrated outstanding citizenship including participation in extra-curricular activities within Cochise County and Sierra Vista.  A demonstrated willingness to serve others in the community is stressed.
 
This scholarship is limited to residents who are currently enrolled as a student at Cochise College or has been accepted and will attend Cochise College  in the amount of $1,000. The applicant must show exceptional efforts based on grades and/or endorsements and must have demonstrated outstanding citizenship including participation in extra-curricular activities within Cochise County and Sierra Vista.  A demonstrated willingness to serve others in the community is stressed.
 
 
 
Limited to current graduation students with good academic standing and demonstration of participation in community/family/social endeavors.  This vocational scholarship is to provide financial assistance in the form of a scholarship award in recognition of the student’s potential for success and desire to make a difference. It can only be applied to an accredited institution, trade school or certification or licensure program, and is for $2,000.
